Dear DCORP community,
As many of you probably already know, the final blockchain vote for dissolving and distributing the Ether in the VC smart contract has ended on Tuesday the 10th of September. In total, 3,144,058.547 DRPU worth of tokens have voted. Out of these tokens, 3,098,007 tokens have voted in favor of dissolving and distributing the Ether, while the remaining 46,051.547 tokens have voted against. This means that we will dissolve DCORP and its legal entities and that we will distribute the remaining Ether in the VC smart contract amongst those who claim. This also means that the claiming period to divide the remaining Ether has started.
Directly after the end of the final blockchain vote, the 60 day claiming period has started. This means that the claiming period will end on Saturday the 9th of November 2019 at 11:20:23 GMT+0100. Since 948 Ether has been reserved to successfully dissolve DCORP and its legal entities, there will be 7,674.5955 Ether to be distributed amongst those token holders that claim their share.
To claim and withdraw your share of the Ether, you have to do the following:
The voting tool at http://dissolve-vote.dcorp.it now functions as a claiming tool. Since your address needs to be whitelisted in order to withdraw your ether, please whitelist your account at https://www.dcorp.it/member/verify if you haven’t done so already.
If you have voted, please withdraw your tokens from the voting contract, the tool will help you with this.
If you still have the original DRP, please convert it to either DRPU or DRPS, the tool will also help you with this, alternatively you can use the older tool, or use this guide.
Once you have done all the above steps, you can claim your share of the Ether. Note that this is only a reservation, you will still need to come back after the claiming period has ended to actually withdraw your Ether. The easiest way to claim is to use the tool, which is designed to make the process as easy as possible. Alternatively, you can simply send your DRPU and/or DRPS to the contract. The contract address is 0xdBdA390fF13caf297Ff95B4301834ba8a35F5f16, however I recommend using the tool, as that is less prone to user error.
It is currently not yet possible to withdraw, because in order to withdraw, all the claims need to be counted, which can only be done after the claiming period has ended. Therefore, the withdrawing stage is after the claiming stage. You will be able to use the same tool to withdraw. Alternatively, you can invoke the function “retrieveEther” here. Note that this will only function when the withdrawing stage is active.
